About Rincewynd

Rincewynd is my main character on World of Warcraft, a human male Destruction warlock on the US server of Saurfang. I have been playing the game since September 2009, being able to resist the coaxing of my workmates for only so long. As a fan of all things fantasy since I was young and being an avid gamer, it wasn't something I could resist for long. I think I was hooked after the first hour.
Rince was not the first toon I rolled however. Initially I began with a Night Elf rogue, and Rince was born not long after. I levelled both to 20 and then continued levelling only the rogue until I hit 50 and somewhere there I just kind of got bored with it.
This was when I went back to Rince....and we haven't looked back since. Originally specced as Affliction while he levelled and later Demonology, it wasn't until I began raiding that I looked at Destruction. I did enjoy the DoTs of Affliction, but something about the burst damage of Destruction really appealed to me, and so I made the switch.
Having only started playing during the WotLK expansion, my first real raid experience was in Ulduar, with a 10 man team made up of members of my guild, The Perturbed Owls, and a few from a couple of other guilds we teamed with frequently. This partnership eventually led to the forming of The Order, a merging of The Perturbed Owls, Mercs and the Order of Light. And so it was The Order that was Rince's home for the majority of his ICC experiences. Eventually, and sadly, the GM and one of the officers transferred realms, and a couple of the other officers left for other opportunities and so the great raid team that I had been a part of was no more.
As the guild slowly fell apart, I realised the time had come for Rince to find himself a new home.
Now a member of Labyrinth of Lost Souls, (the perfect choice for a warlock really), Rincewynd is once again a part of an active raiding guild and looking forward to tackling all of the new content which is about to be unleashed on the world of Azeroth.
